Aditya is at his final year at HABS with a view to read Economics at University. HABSMUN 2019 will be a culmination of his experiences on the MUN circuit where the required oratory and negotiation skills have contributed to his academics and his interest in global issues. Aditya was the Head of Chairs at HABSMUN 2018 as well as one of the Presidents of the Emergency Committee. Outside of MUN, Aditya is a vice house captain, plays golf and is involved in multiple charities. He looks forward to hosting you at HABSMUN 2019.
Alex is in his final year at HABS, with a view to reading politics and international relations at university. Last year he was Head Special Commissioner and thoroughly enjoyed his role. This is Alex's 11th MUN conference as he hopes to provide a forum for constructive debate while also improving delegates appreciation of global issues, some of the many reasons why he enjoys MUN. Alex also plays rugby and cricket as well as being chairman of the Politics Society. Alex looks forward to hosting you at his final MUN conference.
Sam hopes to read History at university with a view to completing a conversion to law. He attended his first conference in Year 9 and hopes to finish his career with a bang at HABSMUN 2019. Model United Nations has had an immeasurable impact on his life as a whole, helping him grow from a quiet and shy Year 9 boy, to one with oratory and debating skills as he enters his final year. These skills are proving very important outside of his MUN life, from helping him dissect history arguments and opinions, to fulfilling his role as Vice School Captain. He is incredibly excited for what will be his final, and best HABSMUN.
Dan is in his final year at HABS and hopes to read economics at university. Having begun his MUN career back in year 9, this will be his last MUN conference, a sad moment, but also one that reminds him of the timid boy he once wants, and the confidence he now has. As School House Captain, he now looks after around 150 boys, and looks forward to taking care of another 75 in his SOHCUM 1 committee over the HABSMUN weekend. He is ready and excited to be welcoming you all to this years HABSMUN conference.
Jonathan is currently is in his final year at Habs and he hopes to read history at university. Jonathan began his MUN career in year 9 and in that time has debated and met many varied and interesting people from across the world. Jonathan has served as Head of Health and the Emergency committees at HABSMUN 2018. Beyond MUN Jonathan is a school Vice House Captain and is heavily involved in charity work. Jonathan is looking forward to his final MUN conference at HABSMUN 2019.
James is in his first year in the sixth form, having first taken part in HABSMUN 2018 as part of the tech team. He hopes to continue to uphold HABSMUN's long-standing tradition of implementing technology into the conference through developing the HABSMUN website, approvals panel and a new HABSMUN app.
